The 24 Position MICROVAP is a portable blowdown evaporator designed for small batches of samples in similar sized tubes. Its compact design makes it ideal for laboratories with limited bench or hood space.
Up to 24 samples can be accommodated at once, and the instrument comes customized for one sample size with an outside diameter of 10-17 mm. If multiple sample sizes will be used with the instrument, inserts can be purchased for each additional sample size.
The digital temperature controls and solid aluminum heating unit provide uniform heat up to 130°C with temperature accuracy of +/- 2°C.
This unit efficiently evaporates samples through a combination of an aluminum heat block and nitrogen gas blowdown. The nitrogen distribution manifold offers continuous and evenly dispersed gas flow to each sample position through stainless steel needles. This manifold raises and lowers as a unit to start and stop gas flow to all samples with one motion.
