Our nylon syringe filters are excellent small filter devices which consist of a polypropylene housing with a membrane which serves as a filter. The fluid to be purified may be cleaned by drawing it up the syringe through the filter.
Nylon offers the best combination of physical parameters to meet the most stringent analytical needs. Nylon is an extremely clean and strong membrane with very low extractable levels and is a good 'workhorse' membrane choice where acidic samples are not involved. Nylon binds protein, do not use when high protein recovery is desired.

Sterilisation by gamma irradiation or ethylene oxide, autoclaving is not recommended
