Glass microfiber filters allow a fast filtration with simultaneous high particle retention and good loading capacity.
*Weight consistency: No relevant changes in weight due to variations in the ambient humidity.
*Limited bending resistance: Brushing against other surfaces may cause the loss of fibres (keep the filters in their original box until their use).
Glass microfiber filters are mainly used in applications such as air or water monitoring. Our filters with binder resin have superior wet strength and are excellent for qualitative analysis and prefiltration, especially for heavily contaminated liquids. They are widely used for clarification of aqueous solutions.

Made of 100% borosilicate glass fibres with inorganic binders
Extremely low metal content
Chemical stability: It keeps all its properties in contact with acid solutions (except hydrofluoric acid) and basic solutions at moderate concentrations
High flow speed and high permeability to air
Good stability at high temperatures up to 500°C
Applications
+ Deposition of (radioactive) aerosols and monitoring of nuclear power plants
+ Gravimetrical analysis of organic and inorganic impurities in water and waste water according to DIN 38409 and EN 872 (suspended particles). The integrated anorganic binder increases the stability without distorting the gravimetric result during annealing at 500°C in accordance with regulations
+ Removal of proteins in beer samples prior to analysis
+ Clearing of protein solutions prior to freeze-drying
